After not being able to make progress with another driving school, I took the decision to find another instructor. After looking at various schools I chose to continue my lessons with Essexdrive and looking back I believe that this was the best decision I ever made. Tim was always on time to every lesson I had and gave an exceptionally high level of tuition which I had noticed from day one. Lessons were fun and engaging and I can honestly say that after every lesson I had, I learnt something new, this is something which I didn't experience before taking lessons with Essexdrive. When I first started driving, I was extremely nervous & not
very confident on the road. Della was very patient, friendly & supportive,

I started learning to drive in January 2012. I wasn't particularly confident of driving & assumed I would not be able to drive at all, seeing it as too hard to do and even harder to master.
But my instructor, Phil, was a tremendous help, showing me the ropes and helping me master the manoeuvres.
The one move that I had always been worried about was the parallel park and was convinced that if it came up, I would surely fail, however, Phil showed me just how easy it is to parallel park and when the move came up on my test I mastered it, thanks to Phil.

Learning to drive with Phil has been nothing but a pleasure. He turned up on time for every lesson, in fact most of the time he would be early and waiting for me. Phil made every lesson enjoyable and tailored to what I wanted to concentrate on as I got closer to my test date. We got on really well and had many a laugh - which made learning to drive enjoyable and easy for the most part! You have always done your best to help me especially when I was struggling. For example driving in the dark (which I used to hate), you helped build my confidence with this and now its no problem at all!

Della Cadd was my driving instructor. Was past first time with 2 minors in 3 months. Always on time and very relaxed and friendly, made you feel at ease in every lesson and had a lot of patience. Never made to feel uncomfortable or embarrassed. I've recommended her to a number of my friends who now take lessons with her, some who have passed already.

Would you recommend us to friends & family? i would most definitely recommend EssexDrive to everyone i know, Most instructors nowadays are after peoples money but Tim is more concerned about teaching pupils to drive and i never felt pressured to do more lessons unless i personally felt i had to. I also, had a one of my lessons with Phil Mann Adi as Tim was away so i never missed out on a lesson, i also had a MockTest with Phil and he really helped and calmed me down which benefitted me in my test. I would also recomment Phil to anyone who is thinking of doing lessons! So glad i went with Tim and no one else. BEST TWO INSTRUCTORS IN ESSEX.

Was the car clean & tidy? Very clean and tidy, alot more tidy than mine has ever been lol.
Would you recommend us to friends & family? I would defiantly recommend Della and have already, she has really helped me and i love driving now all down to her..

Were we on time? He was always on time, better yet at least 5 minutes early. Wasn't once late but said how if he ever was he would still give me the full time of my lesson.
Were the lessons enjoyable? I always looked forward to my lessons as I knew even though I would learn so much within a matter of hours but still have a laugh. We really got on well and I miss the lessons!!
Did your instructor answer all your questions? I was never afraid to ask Phil anything as he would always be more than happy to answer them and would go into as much depth as he could however stupid my question may have been. He also never failed to ask me if I had any questions if I hadn't already.
Were you relaxed in your lessons? I felt very safe under Phil's guidance and although I was pretty bad with nerves he always reassured me that I was fine.
Was your instructor professional in his/her approach to lessons? Everything about the conduct of Phil's lessons were very professional.
Was the car clean & tidy? The car was always spotless- need Phil to help me with mine haha!
Would you recommend us to friends & family? I have already recommended Phil to all my friends, and my siblings will definitely be learning with him in the future. I passed with three minors and can't thank Phil enough. I love driving!
